Transportation and getting around the city

Absolutely, you’re going to have a blast in Barcelona! So, landing in Barcelona, you’re gonna find yourself at El Prat Airport. From there, you have a few options to get to the city center. The Aerobus is a sweet choice; it’s direct, cheap, and drops you at Plaça de Catalunya. You also have the train which is a good choice, especially if you’re staying near Sants Station. Or if you like comfort, taxis are there, but they’ll cost you a bit more.

Now, moving within the city, public transport is your best friend. Get yourself a T-10 ticket; it gives you 10 rides on buses, trams, and the metro. Barcelona’s metro system is top-notch, will get you to most tourist spots. Just remember, the T-10 doesn’t cover the bus from the airport.

Walking around is also a fun way to explore the city. The areas like Barri Gòtic and El Born are so cool to stroll through, with narrow winding streets and loads of shops and eateries, plus, they are quite pedestrian-friendly. Gràcia is another great neighborhood to walk around, lots of squares to chill and grab a drink.
